Rural Support

2021 has been a HUGE year so far for our community, particularly for our farmers. Trying to navigate their way through another bad drought and then coming into winter with torrential rain and flooding.

Amuri Community Health Centre, in collaboration with Rural Support Trust, wish to let our farming community know that they are not alone, and we are here to help.

If you or anyone you know is currently struggling with the fall out of these stressful times, then please let us know. The Health Centre can offer a FREE consultation with a doctor to discuss mood and coping strategies and liaise with the Rural Support Trust to provide ongoing practical and peer support as needed.

Before you visit:


Telephone consultations and face to face consultations are still available
Please phone 03 315 6328 for an appointment.
When phoning for an appointment, please tell the receptionist if you have any respiratory symptoms:
new or worsening cough
sore throat
shortness of breath sneezing and runny nose
loss of sense of smell or altered sense of taste, or a fever
headache
contact with person who may have been exposed to COVID

When you visit:

We politely request you still wear a mask if you display any resipratoy symptoms, this helps to keep the wider community safe.
You may still be asked to be seen via th Ambulance bay if there is any doubt on the type of infection you may have.

Continue to practice social distancing

Covid vaccinations are still available.
Please call the Health centre to arrange a day and time for your vaccine.
