Covid -19 2nd Booster

2nd Booster doses available now! Call 03 315 6328 to book.

Ensure 6 months after first booster.
The following people are recommended to receive a second booster as a priority.

People aged 65 years and over
Māori and Pacific peoples aged 50 years and over
Severely immunocompromised people
People aged 16 years who have a medical condition that increases the risk of severe breakthrough COVID-19 illness and or live with a disability with significant or complex health needs

In addition, a second booster is available for all people aged over 50 years

Before you visit:


Telephone consultations and face to face consultations are still available
Please phone 03 315 6328 for an appointment.
When phoning for an appointment, please tell the receptionist if you have any respiratory symptoms:
new or worsening cough
sore throat
shortness of breath sneezing and runny nose
loss of sense of smell or altered sense of taste, or a fever
headache
contact with person who may have been exposed to COVID

When you visit:

We politely request you still wear a mask if you display any resipratoy symptoms, this helps to keep the wider community safe.
You may still be asked to be seen via th Ambulance bay if there is any doubt on the type of infection you may have.

Continue to practice social distancing

Covid vaccinations are still available.
Please call the Health centre to arrange a day and time for your vaccine.
