24 Hour Surgery

We have been advised that due to staff shortages there is a reduced service at the 24-Hour Surgery clinic on Madras Street in Christchurch, they will be open Monday to Sunday 8.00am to 10.00pm.

We will be notified when the 24-hour service is running again.

You can still access Amuri Health Centre afterhours by phoning us on 03 315 6328 or by calling 111 for emergencies.

Before you visit:


Telephone consultations and face to face consultations are still available
Please phone 03 315 6328 for an appointment.
When phoning for an appointment, please tell the receptionist if you have any respiratory symptoms:
new or worsening cough
sore throat
shortness of breath sneezing and runny nose
loss of sense of smell or altered sense of taste, or a fever
headache
contact with person who may have been exposed to COVID

When you visit:

We politely request you still wear a mask if you display any resipratoy symptoms, this helps to keep the wider community safe.
You may still be asked to be seen via th Ambulance bay if there is any doubt on the type of infection you may have.

Continue to practice social distancing

Covid vaccinations are still available.
Please call the Health centre to arrange a day and time for your vaccine.
